• Email address — collected when you create an account or sign in. Used solely for identity verification and account management.
• Display name — optionally provided by you or sourced from your chosen sign-in provider (e.g., Google).
• Authentication data — tokens and session identifiers generated by Firebase Authentication to keep you securely signed in.

We do not collect payment card numbers, government IDs, precise location data, or any sensitive personal information beyond what is listed above.

Files you process through the Service (PDFs, images, documents) are handled transiently in memory and are never stored on our servers after your session ends.

How We Use Your Information

We use your email address exclusively for the following purposes:

• Account verification — to confirm your identity when you sign in or reset your credentials.
• Service communications — to send transactional messages directly related to your account (e.g., security alerts). We do not send marketing emails.
• Subscription management — to associate your account with any subscription plan you have activated.

We will never sell, rent, or trade your email address to third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Storage & Security

Account information (email, display name, subscription status) is stored in a secured database. Authentication is managed by Google Firebase, which applies industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

While we implement reasonable technical safeguards, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers — Firebase (Google) for authentication. These providers are contractually obligated to handle your data securely and only for the purpose of providing their service to us.
• Legal obligations — if required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
